Hampton Inn Boulder - Louisville

The staff were nice and the service was good. The hotel itself was clean, with large, clean rooms, though ours smelled musty, like someone had washed a dog in there. Turning on the AC helped with the smell. The area is quiet, which I liked, but there’s almost nothing close for food besides a McDonald’s. We chose it because it cost less than staying in Boulder. The mattress in room 324 was awful, with springs you could feel. Maybe the others are better, but that room seemed representative. Hampton Inn used to be a dependable choice for a clean, comfortable stay, and this didn’t feel that way. My other big gripe is the $7 parking charge. If guests have to pay to park, you’d expect the lot to be convenient. People are traveling here, not walking over from home, so the fee feels ridiculous.

Anthony at the front desk was especially kind. My key and door were acting up, and he helped sort it out and made me feel valued. I really enjoyed the stay and would recommend it.

I’ve only completed the first night of the month I’m scheduled to stay, but it’s been a great start. Check-in was easy and the staff were friendly. My room smelled fresh and clean when I walked in. The cleaning team clearly does things properly, since hotel rooms often have leftover hair or small signs of the previous guest. You can tell the person running this hotel takes pride in it.

Amie Kresha and every staff member I interacted with made this feel like a very well-run hotel. They were welcoming, kind, quick to respond, and went beyond what I expected. Fantastic stay.
