Aloft by Marriott Louisville East

Traveling with a pup was easy here. Check-in was simple, the staff were friendly, and the room was spotless. Everything was so clean you could hardly tell pets stay here. There’s a large grassy area right beside the hotel for quick potty breaks, plus other green spaces for dog walks. Restaurants and shops are also an easy walk away. If you’re coming through Louisville with a pet or service animal, this is a great spot.

The rooms are very clean and well maintained, and so are the hallways, public bathrooms, and pool area. The staff are friendly, helpful, informative, and quick to respond to any request, which makes it easy to have either a productive or relaxing stay. We’ve been glad to use this place for regular stays as well as conference room rentals, and we’ll keep using it for our local business needs.

The hotel was about what its rating suggests. Some employees were really helpful, while others weren't. After more than 100 nights of travel, I'm rarely asked to take my ID out of my wallet at check-in, but they asked me here. I also walked into what felt like a hockey frat party in the lobby on a Sunday night. That's not necessarily something the hotel could control, but it's part of my experience. I probably won't stay here on future trips to Lville.

There’s a pool table in the lobby bar, and the room was clean and warm. The rooms are laid out efficiently, though I’m not a fan of having the sink outside the bathroom. The toilet tissue was bad too. Maybe that sounds snobbish, but I want paper that doesn’t leave traces on your tushie.
