Louisville Bourbon Inn

The Louisville Bourbon Inn was a highlight of our family trip, and we’d gladly return. Five couples came together to celebrate my father’s birthday on the bourbon Trail. The house was immaculate, comfortable, beautifully appointed, and in a great spot. A five minute walk through the park takes you to a street lined with Victorian mansions. Churchill Downs is a three minute drive away, and Whiskey Row in downtown Louisville, with lots of great places to eat, is five minutes away. We especially enjoyed dinner at steak and bourbon. Jeff, the owner, was welcoming and gracious. Christopher was a wonderful host, and we loved hearing his stories about the house’s history over breakfast. Breakfast was delicious, with something different each day, and they accommodated the couple of people in our group who were gluten-free. If you get the chance, don’t hesitate to book the Louisville Bourbon Inn.

The homemade breakfasts were delicious, and the hospitality felt luxurious. Allen was a wonderful host who made our stay great. The BNB is lovely and comfortable, with a beautiful house full of gorgeous architecture and history. The rooms are spacious, and the hot water and water pressure were sublime. We’ll definitely come back and recommend it to anyone traveling through Louisville. Thank you, Allen!

The quiet, private feel was one of my favorite parts. We never heard other guests, so the stay felt really personal. Check-in and checkout were easy, too. Allen made us feel welcome right away, and you can tell he cares. The house is spotless, full of character, and decorated beautifully. All the plants make it feel cozy, and the bourbon room is a fun touch. Breakfast was amazing, especially the gravy. I can see why it's award-winning. This was our first B&B, and the Louisville Bourbon Inn has set a pretty hard standard to beat. We’re already telling our friends about it.

The inn is well placed for exploring, close to downtown, across from a quiet park, and surrounded by lovely historic homes. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the bourbon bananas foster and the sausage gravy with biscuits. Allen and Christopher were warm and engaging from the moment we arrived. The rooms were immaculate, and the home's preserved character and beautiful decor gave the place a refined feel. We had an exceptional stay and would recommend Louisville Bourbon Inn to anyone looking for welcoming hospitality and a lovely place to stay.
