The people working here were nice, and the building looks decent from the outside. Inside, though, the rooms need a lot of attention. They feel old, the paint jobs are sloppy, and there's a musty smell. The wall art was warped and barely attached. Rust covered the bathroom, and a hole in the tub let shower water run into the sleeping area. The carpet got soaked. When I told the front desk, they gave me a towel to put down. These rooms really need work.

I've been here about two months. The rooms are affordable, and the area feels safe. Rosa at the front desk is especially helpful and makes time to deal with questions or concerns. They're fixing up some rooms, but most are fine. Ask to see what's available and you should be okay. GRDA is about 15 minutes away.

The night staff were friendly and tried to help, and the bed was brand new and really comfortable. That's about all I can say in the hotel's favor. We were four people with two rooms booked for 3 p.m., but arrived around 6 and neither room was ready. After dinner and a Walmart trip, we came back at 9 and only one room was available. The other had curtains torn off, a partly cleaned bathroom, and chewed up carpet and baseboards, maybe by a dog. Both rooms smelled strongly, had roaches on the walls, and were missing outlet covers. One tub was cracked down the middle, with dirty-looking resin over it. The sink only ran hot water, the privacy lock was broken, and the carpets were stained and ragged. One ceiling had what looked like blood spatter, though they said it was BBQ sauce. There was nowhere else to go because a homesteading conference had filled the area. At checkout we told the manager about everything, and he begrudgingly offered only 10% off. We slept badly and won't recommend this place or ever stay again.

The evening staff were friendly and did what they could, but they don't control the hotel. We booked two rooms with a 3 p.m. check-in, arrived at 5:30, and neither was ready. After dinner and Walmart, we returned around 9; one room still wasn't ready. The rooms smelled bad, and there were roaches in the walls and missing outlet covers. The tub was dirty, the sink only had hot water, the door's privacy lock was broken, and the carpets were worn and stained. One ceiling had what looked like blood spatter. A homesteading conference meant there weren't other options nearby. At checkout, we raised our concerns with the manager, who begrudgingly offered a 10% discount. We didn't sleep well and will never return. I'll also report this to corporate and the county health department.

The breakfast was a joke: no syrup, and the juice machine wasn't working. Around the exit there was junk that looked like a fire hazard, and the stairwell air conditioner was hanging halfway outside, with daylight visible through the gap. Our toilet kept running, and the tub wouldn't drain. We asked housekeeping for clean towels, but they were forgotten. The housekeeper later apologized and said she was the only one working because they couldn't keep staff. The front desk woman was also very kind and apologetic while showing us four rooms before finding one with a working deadbolt. She explained the maintenance man had died and they hadn't hired a replacement. We felt bad for both employees, but the property's condition made it seem like maintenance problems had been around a long time. We only stayed because it was the sole place available, and it was a bitter disappointment. Mr. Patel the manager didn't seem to care when we told him. He offered no apology and didn't even thank us for our money. Wyndham Corp. should shut this place down.
