Hampton Inn & Suites Pryor

We made a quick, easy stop while traveling, and the staff were friendly and accommodating with us and our two dogs. The problem was under the bed: part of its platform was broken, so our dog could get underneath and started pulling out a rotten banana peel, a vape, food, and trash. They said we'd get a discount for the mess, but it never came through. We managed to block him from going back under there, though he'd already dragged a lot out.

The beds were okay and fairly comfortable, and the receptionist was pleasant. But the place is getting run down: carpet squares were lifting in my room, breakfast was put together haphazardly, and only one elevator was running while I was there.

At about $129 a night, the quality is nowhere near worth it. The place felt moldy and dusty, and the shower walls that should've been white were brown with caked-on dirt. Pillow protectors had yellow stains and clearly weren't changed. Staff were rude and loud, letting doors slam while guests were trying to sleep. They also vape inside guest rooms. I wouldn't recommend it.

The room was clean and smelled fresh, and the staff were helpful with an unusual situation we had. The manager was kind and friendly; the overnight gentleman was a bit gruff but still helpful. In Pryor, this feels like a safe choice, though expecting perfection anywhere in town would leave you disappointed. I appreciated the staff's help.
