Homewood Suites by Hilton Lynnwood Seattle Everett, WA

The hotel facilities and customer service were good to very good. There's a nice family game room, and breakfast had what you'd expect, including scrambled eggs, a waffle station, and hot and cold cereals. The rooms were okay, but our bathroom needed an update and better attention. There was no shampoo, and some of the grout looked stained, maybe moldy.

My family spent three weeks here while there were problems with our home, and we'd definitely come back. This is one of Lynnwood's best hotels. The property was immaculate, with spacious, modern rooms and great amenities. Breakfast probably had the best hotel eggs I've ever had. Youstina, Zayan, Lori, and the night auditor whose name I can't remember were all the absolute best.

The manager was polite and apologetic when I spoke with her the next morning, and offered points for the trouble. Our stay was okay overall. The place has spacious rooms, a good breakfast bar, a game room, a decent indoor pool with no hot tub, a large gym, and a great location. We came because of flooding and couldn't research the hotel beforehand. Arriving late at night, we got the kids settled quickly, then noticed the room wasn't clean. There was an old coffee spill on the wall. When we opened the pullout couch, the cushions had white stains, one with kids' slime on it, and the mattress cover was stained and covered in hair. The front desk offered another room, but we'd already settled the children. They said housekeeping would do a full clean at 1 p.m. the next day and gave us fresh pullout sheets. We left at 12:30 and came back at 4 to allow time, but the room still hadn't been cleaned. After I went back to the desk, someone did a light clean, changing the sheets and replacing towels.

Had a good stay. The rooms get cleaned every two days, and breakfast is included. If you're vegetarian, there are rice and potato options every day. The mall and nearby shops are just a short walk away.
