Fairfield Inn & Suites Beckley

The staff are incredibly sweet, and they fixed a shower problem from my first night in under 20 minutes. Farrah, Yvonne, and Donnelle were especially friendly and wonderful. I liked the hotel enough to extend my trip by another day.

The location took some figuring out, with so many hotels at this exit, and Google Maps didn’t seem to guide me correctly. It’s a new place, just one year old in June 2026. The staff were very friendly, breakfast was nicely prepared with hot items included, and there were cookies and water at the desk when I checked in. Very clean and comfortable.

I have no complaints. The lobby felt welcoming, our room was spotless, and the front desk representative was kind and helpful. Breakfast the next morning was delicious, and checkout was quick with another cheerful representative. One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in. If you’re in the area, I’d choose it.

Our suite had queen beds and so much space, it was great for my family. We also liked breakfast: biscuits and gravy one morning, fajita eggs the next. The hotel is right off the interstate and close to lots of things. We came to ski at Winterplace, though, and had to go through the toll each time we drove back after skiing. That part wasn’t the hotel’s fault, and I’d happily stay here with my family again. Everyone was kind, from the front desk to housekeeping and the breakfast crew. A Hispanic guy at breakfast kindly made scrambled eggs for my child. Two front desk women gave us great suggestions, and when I asked to have our sheets changed, they came up right away. I wish I’d gotten their names for a proper shoutout. The woman cleaning the lobby and eating area was so kind and worked hard. Even with snow, salt, and ice being tracked in, the place was clean. Staff even gave up staying at the hotel so they could come in to work during the bad storm. And the cookies at the front desk were yummy.
