The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel itself was nice and conveniently located. But the ferry tickets they advertised and sold caused a really frustrating problem. Posters all over said they sold tickets for a particular ferry service, and we clearly asked for that service. At the dock, we learned the tickets were actually for a different ferry company. We were also told hotels aren’t supposed to sell tickets for that service, so the advertising felt misleading and dishonest. The staff didn’t accept responsibility or try to resolve it properly. The stay was fine apart from that, but double-check ticket details before buying through the hotel.

The hotel, rooms, and view are all nice, but the staff were terrible, especially the manager. He was extremely rude and wouldn’t help with our basic needs. He ruined the whole experience, and we’ll never return.

It may not be an expensive hotel, but I still expected decent room service. On arrival, the room felt untouched by housekeeping, and there were makeup stains on the sheets. The next day they came in and only put in a new trash bag, without cleaning anything else. I didn’t even want to try the pool or hot tub. The staff weren’t very talkative, and checkout was just in and out. I don’t think I’ll return to the owners’ hotels.

The suite was quiet and in a great spot just off Main Street, with a balcony overlooking the lake. It had a king bed and a queen bed in separate rooms with the bathroom between them. The shower was clean, but the water pressure was very weak, and the furnishings could use an update. The desk staff were extremely helpful with attractions and places to eat.

The balcony and view were amazing, and the room was large, almost like two rooms, in a good location on the beach. The bedding was clean, but all our towels were nasty and stained, and though the room was decently clean, my kids found a pop can left by the previous guests. The pool was large and a hit with the kids. The hot tub was tiny, and the pool area was run down and needed attention. I’d return for the view and location if the price were reasonable. The area hotels all seem dated and worn, and this room was a little dark.
