The staff were really kind. They brought extra towels when we asked and let us check out an hour late. We were happy with most things, including the beds and breakfast, and the stay was comfortable. The pool was enjoyable, though it looked stained and could use a thorough scrub. Our shower was warm enough, but perhaps not hot enough if you like a very hot shower; the one in our family’s other room got hotter. The bathroom had only one bar of soap, so I had to ask for a second, one for the shower and one for the sink. One small thing I’m never sure about: if I have leftover coffee or juice from breakfast, I’d like somewhere to pour it out. Putting a full cup in the garbage seems wrong and could make a mess for staff. I took ours back to the room and emptied it in the sink. What do other people do?

The location worked really well for us. Walmart is right across the street, there are several places to eat nearby, and my favorite, McAlisters Deli, is next door and easy to walk to. The hotel was clean and comfortable for a reasonable price, and the staff were incredibly helpful and kind.

We felt really violated during our stay and wouldn’t recommend this place. We were out all day for a wedding, and when we came back someone had been in our room and left dirty underwear on the bathroom floor. The front desk removed it but refused to move us or do anything else to address it. We never told the staff they couldn’t enter to check what happened. After the receptionist took the underwear away, nothing was offered. Staff said they had reviewed footage, but wouldn’t show it or explain how it proved their case, and still didn’t help us.

Voices and heavy footsteps from the neighboring rooms went on for hours, making the stay miserable. I called the desk, but it didn’t seem to make a difference. The rooms are looking worn, and there wasn’t even a USB port for charging, though they still had Ethernet. Seriously, in 2026?

We were in town for a college visit and stayed two nights. The rooms were very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The kids had fun in the pool, and the staff were super friendly. We’ll stay here again when we visit the college.
