The East Avenue Inn & Suites

Ben and David were professional and dedicated to good customer service. They made my stay pleasant, and I’d stay here again when I’m in the area, knowing they’re around to help. The hallways had a stale kind of smell, which I think may have come from overdue carpet maintenance. Apart from that, it was a nice, quiet, clean, enjoyable stay. Thanks again, Ben and David, for your help.

The location was handy for bar hopping around East and Alexander, and the place was clean. The Queen bed was comfortable, too. We were there for my bachelor party and stayed noisy until 4 a.m. without anyone complaining, probably because there weren’t many other guests that night. The breakfast they provided could’ve been better.

The rooms were comfortable and well furnished, the staff were great, and the location suited what I needed. The property seems to have been a motel before, and it’s made up of four buildings joined together. From the farther buildings, there’s a long walk, plus short sets of steps where the buildings don’t line up evenly. That’s why I’m giving it four stars.

The staff were very courteous and helped us change rooms during the cold storms. Our room was very clean and seemed renovated. It was great being close to the city grill, with its incredible food and big portions. There’s also a free shuttle to UR nearby. I’d stay again.
