The location is good, close to shops and restaurants, and there’s coin laundry on site. The room layout was fine and there were no bugs. But the shower, despite having hot water, had no bathroom fan, probably part of why there was so much mold. The carpet had runs, pieces of hallway wall were crumbled on the floor, and the place smelled old and musty. Thin doors and walls let you hear everything. The heater blew cold, sour, mildewy air when I tried to warm the room. The pool and hot tub were stinky, grimy, and slimy. Breakfast was gross, which says a lot coming from me, since I’m obese and eat everything. This isn’t the worst hotel I’ve stayed at, but it’s the worst one over $100. There are three other hotels in the same parking lot, so try one of those first.

I slept like a baby on the fantastic king bed. The people were very nice, and breakfast was really good too. The biscuits and gravy were delicious and seemed homemade.

The photo says it all. That’s semen, by the way. We were disgusted after seeing it. My family and I would have left, but it was Valentine’s Day weekend and everything was booked, so we changed rooms instead. I don’t know what protocol hotels follow when a guest finds something like this, but we should have received something.

Not the worst option, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Half the outlets in our room didn’t work, and it was obvious the room hadn’t been fully cleaned.

Avoid room 201. The bathroom had stains in both the tub and toilet, and the room smelled rancid and musty. The sheets were wrinkled, the beds looked slept in, and the mattresses were old and sagging. We also had trouble getting the door to lock when we went out.
