I can only speak to what happened at the front desk, since we never got any further. I was dropping off a friend after a bowling tournament, and while they checked in, I parked in the designated area, taking up one lane. The man told me I was blocking everything and had to move, without asking why I was there or offering a simple direction to pull around the other side. He was rude and disrespectful. I can't recommend this hotel based on that encounter. The front desk staff otherwise seemed kind and polite, but that was as far as I got.

We appreciated being allowed into our room before the 3:00pm check-in time. That meant we could leave the car at the hotel and head to the 3:00pm basketball game at the Kohl Center without hunting for another place to park. The hotel was clean and modern, and the staff were friendly.

The breakfast was filling and really good, and they were willing to make something if the buffet didn't have what you wanted. We also used the convenient airport shuttle. Austin drove us there and was a very nice person to chat with. Great staff, service, and location.

We stayed on Christmas Eve, December 24th, and found the hotel quiet, with a nice room. The desk clerk was kind and explained the shuttle and food choices, since the restaurant was closed for the holiday. There were sandwiches and other options, but we wanted a hot dinner, so we chose a place outside the shuttle's usual area. Our driver wasn't busy and took us anyway. He was excellent, and we had a lovely conversation. I noticed several restaurants open closer to the hotel on the way there, so next time I'll look harder nearby instead of sending the driver so far out of the way. The hotel staff gave top-notch service, and the location is convenient to Meriter Hospital. I'd recommend staying here.

The room was reasonably priced, with clean bedding and very comfortable beds. We were in town for a wedding, only a 15-minute drive from the venue, and parking on site cost $20. The staff were friendly, and at check-in we each got a warm chocolate chip cookie in a bag, plus bottles of water. The cookie was delicious. I'd happily recommend this hotel and book it again if I'm back in Madison.
