Home2 Suites by Hilton Madison Central Alliant Energy Center

The rooms were very clean and the beds super soft, and the front desk team was excellent. But our side of the hotel heard highway traffic all night, and the windows don’t block the sound. The place also doesn’t look like the photos, and the patio is closed for several months. Breakfast ends too early, at 9am. The location is close to the convention center, though food options are lacking nearby, with more available over on Minona.

The only thing keeping this from a five for me was the freeway noise. My room was right beside it, like many of the rooms, and cars and trucks could be heard regularly. Otherwise the rooms were roomy, clean, and modern, with a built-in bathroom night light. Breakfast was hearty, with eggs, sausage, bagels, cereal, and fruit. Handy spot for sightseeing.

I was in Madison, WI for work and got a very affordable, fully equipped suite at this Hilton. It was clean and comfortable, with a full kitchen and comfortable beds. Breakfast was complimentary and adequate, though nothing special. There’s no tavern or dining on site, but Liberty Station is an excellent restaurant just a 100' walk through the parking lot. I’d stay here again.

We had a small problem with the heater, but the hotel quickly moved us to another room. The room had lots of space to spread out, and the complimentary breakfast was much better than most. A very good stay.
