Victoria was such a lovely hostess, and breakfast was a treat each morning, with something a bit different and especially good baked goods. I felt right at home in my cozy room. It’s easy to walk to the beaches or into Madison, and you can rent a bike right there too. So glad I found this little B&B. I’ll definitely be back.

The beds are so comfortable, and this charming inn had much more to offer than the area’s hotels and motels, even though it was more reasonably priced. Victoria, the inn keeper, made me feel at home at the end of each day while I was in town on business. It was my first bed and breakfast stay, and it was more than I’d pictured. The kitchen smells at breakfast time had me looking forward to the morning, and she’s a gourmet chef. I hope I can return in summer to enjoy more of the area, and I’d stay here again.

The bed was comfortable and everything apart from the ladybugs was clean. We found several in our room, and one even came home with us. The host was friendly, and the house and stay had a distinctive feel. Breakfast tasted great, though it was all carbs, so some protein would’ve been nice.

There were fluffy white towels in the bathroom, along with little essentials like shampoo, conditioner, mouthwash, lotion, a shower cap, and makeup remover. In the room, we had a lovely four-poster bed, a small settee, a dresser, and a flat-screen TV, plus free WiFi and bathrobes in the closet. There were minibar snacks around the corner, as well as free ice and bottled water. Downstairs, the coffee bar was handy for early risers before the generous breakfast. Our friends had booked us a room for the night, and we really enjoyed the stay. I highly recommend the Tidewater inn.

The host is gracious and serves guests a delicious, generous breakfast each day. It’s a quiet, cozy place to get away. Madison is a short walk or drive, and there are good restaurants and stores a little way north or south. There’s also a quiet beach at the end of East Wharf road, free after 5pm.
