The location and affordable price were a great fit, and the service was top notch. Everything I could ask for was there: comfort, a remodeled room, no mold, and no bugs. One of my best hotel experiences. Highly recommend it, and thanks for having me.

For a budget stay, this is a nice, clean place with good rooms at an affordable price. There's a $50 cash damage deposit, but you get it back at checkout.

I canceled the other hotel I had booked 30 miles away. Big springs was nicer than I expected, even though it's no 5 Star place. My non-smoking room was cool despite the awful heatwave, and the refrigerator was clean and cold. The towels were clean and big enough to wrap around me without being see-through, and the soap was better than expected. The firm bed wasn't thin or full of springs sticking out. The room had been remodeled with new fixtures, bathroom faucet, and showers. I'm not sure who did the work because they couldn't cut a straight line, but it was still clean and done. The gentleman who checked me in was nice, and the pop and snacks were cheap too. I work for a name brand hotel and one of the only five-star resorts in my state, so I wasn't expecting much when I booked the weekend. I even kept another reservation 30 minutes away as a backup. It's worth the money. Get a non-smoking room and smoke outside.

Check-in was friendly, parking was easy, and I'd come back. The place was quiet overnight, though I heard neighbors either in their room or outside the previous evening and couldn't tell which. The only real issue for me was the shower head coming out of the wall around the 5-foot mark. I'm over 6 feet, so I had to bend down or sit to shower. The shower pressure was okay, not great, and the tub drained normally. The toilet flushed properly and didn't keep running. The mattress was thin and soft, but surprisingly comfortable even though I usually prefer firm mattresses, and my sciatica didn't bother me. Rooms have been renovated in the past few years, they're clean if not spotless, and everything works. This is a good mom-and-pop roadside motel for the money, as long as you don't expect the Hilton.
