Western Motel

I was so tired I could've slept on a board, and honestly didn't even look around the room when I came in. The rooms are very dated and, to be honest, quite disgusting. There were three bug traps, which alarmed me, though I checked and none had bugs in them. Basic cleaning seems nonexistent, from spider webs to dirty mirrors. If I hadn't been exhausted, I wouldn't have stayed, and I certainly wouldn't have paid $70 for the room.

Needed a room for one night, but the employee who “helped” my friends and me was extremely rude and snappy. She quoted “$70 plus tax,” though the motel didn't look worth more than $20 a night. After we left, she said we couldn't stand outside while we tried to figure out what to do. Really unprofessional. Don't expect to ask for a room without trouble from an employee. A horrible 15-minute experience. I'd rate it -46 stars if I could.

Google calls this a two-star hotel, but to me it's a solid three-star place. The beds are comfy, the staff are friendly, and housekeeping will come daily if needed. There's good water pressure and the temperature stays where you want it. Our room could use a deep clean, though bugs were nonexistent. The room had plenty of drawer space, hangers, two tables, regular chairs, an office chair, and multiple trash cans. It also came with a coffee maker, refrigerator with a mini freezer, microwave, cable TV, electronic keys, and lamps and overhead lighting. In the bathroom, the tub was separate from the sink and large mirror, and clean toiletries were provided along with a blow dryer, ice bucket, and tissues. The vending machine for drinks is outside the rooms. There are carpeted floors, a pull-up-to-the-door layout, rooms with multiple beds, and nonsmoking options. Our room had a wall painting, and DQ is within earshot. No in-room Bible or pool.

In Room 105, the sink wouldn't drain and the shower wouldn't turn on, so I had to take a bath. The stopper didn't work either, and I had to use a rag to plug it, which left me with only one washcloth. The bed wasn't very comfortable. That room was awful, and I won't stay here again.
