Cozy Creek Cottages

The owners made sure we had what we needed and were very accommodating. We especially liked the family-oriented feel and found the stay really relaxing. The cottages were quaint and very clean, and the setting was beautiful. We’ll definitely be back!

After visiting Cozy Creek Cottages with family and friends for many years and through several owners, it pains me to say I won’t be returning. The place has lost its charm and, to me, has become little more than a trailer park. The current owner has let the property deteriorate badly. Cabins that used to be charming are now in disrepair and, frankly, filthy. It’s ironic that smoking isn’t allowed when both owners smoke constantly. There also always seems to be some kind of verbal argument going on, enough to make my guests uncomfortable. It feels unprofessional in every way.

I like relaxing on the porch and looking out over the creek. The little cottages feel like tiny houses, and they’re clean, cozy, and comfortable. The owners are pleasant to work with and do what they can to make your stay comfortable. It feels safe, the location is great with everything a short drive away, and there’s a playground and play area for kids. We’ll certainly return!

There were small children, dogs, and cats running around the parking lot. The fees were another problem: $60 per dog, plus other hidden charges, including a resort fee. The Waynesville Inn and Golf Club, Tapestry Collection by Hilton was about $150 a night and didn’t charge us for pets, but this place ended up costing $225 per night. This was my first cabin rental, and I won’t try one again.
