Heart Of The Valley Motel

Burton and Caroline were so hospitable and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the hotel is tucked beside a picturesque creek, making it a lovely escape. You can still walk to nearby conveniences in beautiful Maggie Valley. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a peaceful stay close to nature.

Caroline, the owner, was sweet and helpful, and available if we needed anything. This is a no-frills place, but still welcoming, and we enjoyed our visit. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the A/C units were quiet and much appreciated during a hot week. The hotel sits back from the road, away from the rolling thunder, with a lovely murmuring creek running in front of the parking lot.

Waking up to the creek out front was lovely. We also played fetch with the owner’s sweet dog and picked a few pears from the on-site orchard to eat on the drive home. Caroline, one of the owners who lives on site, was kind and welcoming. It’s a gem of a motel in Maggie Valley, with a nicely renovated, very clean room and a comfortable bed. Can’t wait to visit again!

The owners were personable and welcoming, and you can tell they take pride in the place. The room was newly renovated, super clean, and had a comfy bed. It was perfect for our quick weekend trip, with a location central to everything. Their sweet doggies take greeting customers very seriously too. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back soon!
