The owner, Allen, is an awesome guy, and we’ll stay here every year when we come to town. My family and I rented two rooms last weekend for an annual event, and both were very clean and tidy. The refrigerators were nice and cold, and there were more than enough towels and washcloths. We couldn’t have asked for a better place, and the rates are very good too!

The location is awesome, and the rooms came well-equipped. Allan is a very entertaining owner, and the showers were great, with good water pressure for a multi-room hotel. You can choose between smoking and non-smoking rooms. The only thing was having to ask for clean towels. We’ll be back again next year.

It was fine for an overnight stay. The place is very basic and a bit old, but we found it clean and comfortable. We worried at first that it might be noisy, but it wasn’t. The location is good, near downtown Waynesville shops and restaurants and not terribly far from Great Smoky Mountain NP. It did feel a bit pricey for such a basic place.

I stayed here for work. My room was always clean, and I got fresh towels every other day. The owner was very nice and handled whatever issues came up professionally. I recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy the nearby sites.

We had a reservation, but the booking service we used didn’t mention a check-in time. We arrived around 11pm and he’d already given our room away, so we had to stay somewhere about 30mins away. He had a really nasty attitude when we spoke with him. Based on other reviews, that seems to be common, and the service you get from him may be slow and shotty at best. I’d highly recommend staying elsewhere!
