Ramada by Wyndham Maggie Valley

Our room overlooked Jonathan creek from the second floor, and the view was even better than the pictures show. It’s very close to the water. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, while the hotel’s indoor and outdoor common areas felt clean and calm. Staff we met were all fantastic, helpful, and friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and a good start to the day. We also used the laundry, and the washer and dryer worked well. The indoor pool area is nice, but the website says there’s a hot tub and there isn’t one anymore. That was disappointing after a long drive, so Ramada should update the listing. There’s no elevator, so anyone who can’t manage stairs should book a first-floor room. It’s right in the heart of Maggie valley near everything you’d need. For the price, it’s a very good place to stay in Maggie valley nc.

The staff have such kind, gentle energy, the sort of loving care you get from country people. Their positivity and kindness go a long way. There are also loads of great restaurants with delicious food nearby, plus endless adventures to see and stories to bring home. From your private balcony, the peaceful River Creek and the AMAZING Mountain views are right there. In the BRIGHT and EARLY morning, just before sunrise, Elk LITERALLY walk around nearby. With the balcony door open, the sound of the water gets louder, like natural rainfall for relaxing. Pure tranquility. This place is amazing!!! :);)

We stopped on a whim while a concert was going on, and the room by the creek was beautiful, quiet, and very clean. The beds were super comfortable, breakfast was great, and the service was excellent. I haven’t seen the room charge yet, so I’m not sure what it’ll cost. I saw rooms listed at $55-60 and hope mine isn’t too expensive. So far, I’ve only seen the $50 deposit for my puppy, which is absolutely great. Love Maggie Valley. I’ll be back!

We stayed for 7 days, and overall it was a nice hotel. I’d come back, but for a longer visit you need to ask for trash pickup and fresh sheets and towels when needed. It doesn’t seem to happen otherwise. Our bathroom door scraped and stuck on the floor, and the glass sliders were hard to open and could use some silicone. The free breakfast was standard fare: sausage, scrambled eggs, waffles, yogurt, cereal, assorted juice, bread, and muffins. It’d be nice if they served bacon once in a while. The decaffeinated side of the coffee maker needs fixing, and a lobby coffee machine would be useful, like at some other hotels I’ve stayed in. Also, the first-floor ice machine was still broken, so if you can’t climb stairs, you’re out of luck getting ice during your stay.
