Misty Mountain Ranch B&B & Cabins

The Dreamcatcher Room had a cozy feel, and after a long day we really enjoyed the fireplace and Jacuzzi. I also loved how quiet the outside deck was for sitting and unwinding. The owners were welcoming and did what they could to help. One thing that affected the service rating: earlier reviews talked about hot cooked breakfasts, which many B&Bs offer, but breakfast wasn’t provided here. The website should be updated from the previous owners. Aside from that, we had a really enjoyable stay.

Karen, the owner, greeted us over breakfast the next morning and shared stories about the area. We also enjoyed chatting with the other guests and felt comfortable there. When we arrived, Chasity showed us to our room, answered our questions, and was so cheerful it lifted our mood right away. My husband and I had a lovely visit and plan to return. We may book one of the larger rooms next time.

We loved spending time in the flower garden, and our room was a comfortable place to relax. The huge jacuzzi tub was a real treat, and breakfast was delicious. We’d never tried a bed and breakfast before, so weren’t sure what to expect, but Keesha and her husband made us feel at home from check-in and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. Maggie Valley is close by, and Cherokee isn’t far either, with beautiful scenery all around. We’ll definitely come back. This place is a gem ❤️❤️

We stayed in the Prospectors Room in the bed and breakfast suite, which is separate from the cabins on the property. Mrs. Karen answered our questions when we arrived and explained how everything worked. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the jet tub was nice. Breakfast was wonderful, and the staff were friendly. We had a great experience and were sorry to leave.
