The creek running through the property was lovely, and Maggie Valley itself is beautiful. I was there on a motorcycle trip to visit Dale's Wheels through Time museum, and the hotel was right next door. The room was clean, and there was a fire pit with chairs and free firewood. There’s a good breakfast place across the street and Legends bar and grill down the road. Thelma was so sweet on the phone and even nicer in person. Her daughter, who runs the hotel, was great too. I had a wonderful stay and would come back. Five stars.

The staff were pleasant and helpful, and the location made it easy to walk to everything, especially the wheels of time museum. We loved hanging out by the water in the community kitchen and chatting around the shared fire pit. Our room was clean and updated, with a nice balance of newer touches and that vintage motel feel. We’ll definitely return.

We’ve been staying here for the last three years, and it’s become our little hidden gem. It’s quiet, close to the surrounding area, and my child loves the stream. The rooms are cute, clean, and always smell nice. Ten out of ten for us, and we’ll stay here whenever we’re in town. Highly recommend!

I first stayed here on my own in the early 2000s and loved it. I came back with my brother, and it was beautiful. It’s changed a lot since my first visit, but if I’m ever back in Maggie Valley, I’d love to stay here again.

We stayed somewhere else, but our friends were at this motel and we ended up spending more time here than at our own place. Jake was so welcoming and really made the visit special. The rooms looked super clean, and the creek and outdoor spaces were fabulous. Their little creekhouse clubhouse by the water is amazing. There was nothing wrong with our motel, and I’d left it a good review too, but Jake went the extra mile. Next time we’re in Maggie Valley, we’ll stay at Rolling Brook. Thanks, Jake!
