Route 19 Inn

We spent Thanksgiving week here with my husband, our 15-year-old son, and our pet, and the family suite impressed us. The property and rooms were very clean, and the front desk was super friendly. The bathroom was a little cold, so we bought a small space heater. That made sense given the older remodel, which still has some original tile and design. We had a great time and would book again.

The rooms were spacious and very clean, and dogs are allowed for a small fee. This beautifully renovated inn is in quaint Maggie Valley, with Waynesville and Cherokee both about 20 minutes away. We’re planning to come back in the summer.

We stayed Friday night and loved the antique feel of the place. The room was super clean, the staff was sweet, and there are two beautiful creeks beside the hotel. I couldn’t find a single thing wrong with our stay. We’ll be back, I promise.

The room smelled fresh, and cleanliness is a priority for me when I’m away from home. This place definitely met my expectations. We had a Deluxe King, though online we could only book a Queen Deluxe, and the woman at the front desk was able to get us into a king room. It had a fridge with freezer, a clean coffee maker, comfortable clean beds and linens, and plenty of towels and washcloths. The bathroom also had travel-size shampoo, lotion, body wash, and makeup wipes, even though we brought our own. Affordable, nice and quiet. First stay, but we’ll be back. I was impressed.
