I’d stay again if there weren’t other places at a similar price. For $125, the rate was reasonable compared with other Boston area options that day. We had to switch rooms because the heating didn’t work in the first one, but staff handled the move without a problem. The new room had a working space heater, though one of its four legs was missing. The staff weren’t rude, but they weren’t especially friendly either. The bathroom had running hot water and clean towels, and the room didn’t smell, though there was a cigarette hole in the blanket as other reviewers mentioned. The cash deposit caught me off guard. I rarely carry cash now, and it felt like a sign of distrust when they could have put a hold on a credit card like reputable places do. There’s an ATM, but it charges fees and they profit from it.

The room had been upgraded and was pretty decent, with a microwave and mini fridge. Nearby you can walk to a tattoo shop, movie theater, sports bar, liquor store, and some good food. But there were people coming and going all night, so it got noisy. As soon as I put my key in the door, the guy next door asked if I wanted to smoke weed with him. Definitely not a kid friendly environment. I made a mistake picking this place, though I admit it’s not the worst. It’s reasonably priced and works for a layover. They put a beautiful, model-looking woman at the front desk. I can see people planning to leave but deciding to stay in the hope of something.

They said the rooms had been completely renovated, but mine clearly hadn’t, apart from the floor. The beds were worn out, and my 2-year-old sank into the middle of one. There were too many burn holes in the comforters to count. The 32-inch TV was all the way across the room. The old bathroom had no tub, just a stand-up shower with peeling paint. The drink machine in the office was broken, and there was no coffee, just a dusty stand. They also required a $50 cash deposit. I checked out a day early even though I’d booked through a non-refundable site. This place was horrible and depressing. I’ll never stay there again, and wouldn’t recommend it unless it were the last place on earth.

The two young people who checked me in were nice, but everything else was a disaster. The place was dirty and nowhere near worth half of what I paid. I spent $600 for five nights and felt ripped off. The TV remote was dead, there were cigarette holes in the blankets, and the bed covers were filthy. The shower barely had any pressure, and the phone didn’t work. In the morning there was no coffee or anything else, and the vending machine was empty. There wasn’t a store or anything within about two miles. In those circumstances, I’d expect a coffee machine or kettle in the room at least. One morning, I asked the young woman at the desk for a knife to make a sandwich, but she said she didn’t have one. The place has at least a hundred rooms. If they don’t serve breakfast because of Covid or whatever, they should provide some basic tools. I wouldn’t recommend anything about this terrible place. Book somewhere else.

For one night, the two bedroom suite was a good place to stay, and I was happy with the price and grounds. There were two full beds in the living room. My only issue was that the bedroom had no door, so there was no privacy. Otherwise, no complaints.
