Oceanfront Gem w/ Balcony, Pool, Hot Tub & Carbon Beach Access Bluewater Haven by Avantstay

A clean, comfortable room in a really convenient spot, just as advertised. The pier, Nobu, beach, and dispensary are all within walking distance. It’s a good choice for an overnight staycation in the bu if noise doesn’t bother you. The metal bed frame makes the springs a little noisy, and the walls are paper thin, so we heard the neighbors and PCH all night. The hotel provides earplugs, but it’s probably not for anyone sensitive to noise.

We booked at the last minute for two nights and got a perfect deal right across from the beach. The partial ocean view was beautiful, and the furnishings were modern, clean, and comfortable. There was even a Nespresso coffee maker. Loved it, and I can’t wait to come back this summer.

The M Malibu is a no-frills motel on the PCH, with convenient parking and a clean, modern room with a nice shower. I’ve stayed before because I like a small property that’s easy to get in and out of when I’m traveling for work. Calling it a five-star two-star hotel makes sense to me. I was on the PCH side and had a nice ocean view and a cute little balcony. The owner warned me about the traffic noise, and I chose the view anyway, so it was a little noisy. There aren’t many restaurants within walking distance, so you’re better off with a car or ready to Uber.

Comfy rooms with ocean views and plenty of parking make this a great base for enjoying the area. It’s a lovely boutique hotel right on the PCH, in the heart of Malibu, and less than a mile from the pier.
