Quality Inn Manassas

The rooms aren't really up to date, but the hotel isn't bad. I stayed from September 24 to the 28th and gave service four to five stars largely because of the evening receptionist, WILLOW. She was very attentive to me and my family. After checkout, my mother had left a personal item belonging to my deceased sister. The staff found it, and WILLOW held onto it until I could have it picked up. I appreciate what she did and wish her the best in her future endeavors.

I'm local and was helping a friend get a room for the night. The young woman at the desk was accommodating and check-in was pleasant. But Google Maps advertised half the price I was charged. In the morning, when I went to pick up my deposit, they accused my friend of breaking a plastic shampoo bottle and tried to charge me $20 for it, even though it would have been easy to fix. My friend has dreadlocks, so the odds he even got in the shower, much less used shampoo, seem pretty low. Come on, people. Just beware.

We paid $127, and the room wasn't worth it. The bed sank in the middle, and the sink kept running, sending water everywhere. Then I got up and saw cockroaches. There were sirens all night and people wandering around the parking lot. The place needs a huge update. We travel weekly and have stayed at much better hotels for a lot less, even though we're platinum members. This was one of the worst hotels we've stayed at. The guy who checked us in wasn't nice at all. We're here for a week, but we walked out and left. Take your money somewhere else. We'll find another place to spend it.

I booked through Priceline for July 25 to July 26, but when I arrived early in the morning on July 26 after traveling from another state, the hotel refused to honor my reservation. I had nowhere to rest after the long trip. I'd tried calling several times after booking, but nobody answered. They still charged me $72 and refused a refund, despite my not staying there. It was really upsetting. I don't usually write reviews, but I wanted to help other people avoid the same experience. It's sad to see a business treat customers this way. Be careful before booking.
