Best Western Manchester

The breakfast was the weak point. A couple of items, the pancake and yogurt, weren't working, and what was left was only marginal. For us that morning, breakfast was a 3.5 at best. I'd give the stay about 4.5 overall: the rooms and motel were clean and updated, and the rooms were quiet. The exercise room was decent and had dumbbells, better than most motels. Staff were accommodating, though not especially friendly during my mid-afternoon check-in and morning departure.

If you're only looking for a place to sleep, this does the job. The location right off the expressway is convenient, the rooms are clean and reasonably priced, and I slept well on a very comfortable mattress. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap were all replenished. But the clerk insisted twice that I had no reservation until I showed my confirmation email, which was annoying after a long day of travel. Breakfast was minimal, with little effort apparent. The eggs and sausage were lukewarm, the bread, bagels, and muffins added up to maybe a dozen pieces, there were only four yogurts in the fridge, and the fruit was past its best. There are other options just down the street.

The second-shift employee was friendly and really helpful, and the hotel was clean and well managed. Our room had plenty of outlets for all our devices, and the beds were very comfortable. We had a simple but tasty breakfast in a pleasant dining area the next morning. There are lots of places to eat nearby. We were very pleased.

When my car broke down, the staff let me check out late while it was being repaired, without giving me any trouble. They were professional, helpful, understanding, and very accommodating. The room was absolutely clean and comfortable. Wonderful place to stay, with people who actually care. Thank you, Best Western, for going beyond what I expected!
