Fairfield Inn by Marriot Manchester-Boston Regional Airport

My room was filthy: stained bed sheet, dirty fridge, mold in the bathroom, and pubic hair on the floor. The hotel is wildly outdated inside, and two ice makers were broken or missing. I tried to check in after 3pm, but the rooms still weren’t cleaned, and I got downgraded. I think this is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

The gym was the main letdown. I liked that there were treadmills and a rowing machine, but the dumbbells only went up to 15 or maybe 20 lbs, and there was no pull-up bar or squat rack. As an athlete in the National Guard, I found that disappointing. The room was good, and so was the free breakfast. I do wish the yogurt had been healthier and better quality, though offering breakfast and a place to stay for free is generous. Other than that, it was aight.

The Wi-Fi was excellent, and the location was very convenient. We also had a notably spacious room that was kept in meticulous condition. It made for an exceptional stay.

The main lobby often smelled like sewage, and the common areas were unpleasant because of it. In the room, the pillows were flat, uncomfortable, and seemed more like they were filled with dust than offering any support. The breakfast buffet was a disappointment too. If watery eggs are your thing, you might like it. We found stained bedding with hairs that weren’t ours on our first night. There also appeared to be pubic hairs on the shower shelf, which was unsettling and made us question the cleanliness. The shower head wasn’t properly secured to the wall. Wallpaper had visible rips, there were odd stains on the walls, and the heater/AC unit was dusty and dirty. This place feels run down and didn’t meet the cleanliness, comfort, or quality standards we expected from a Marriott-branded hotel. We wouldn’t stay again or recommend it.
