Hampton Inn & Suites Hartford-Manchester

The room was just okay and not especially clean. Water dripped from the shower head all night, and the bathroom door was warped at the bottom and stuck against the tile, so it wouldn’t close. The carpets throughout were torn and badly stained. The front desk attendant was rude and unwelcoming. At night, the busy road out front turned into a racing strip, with very loud cars doing burnouts up and down it for an hour and keeping us awake. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

The location was where I needed it, lol, and the rooms seemed clean. The corners of the bathroom floor could use some love, though. I wasn’t recognized as a hhonors member, and the front desk worker checked us in while talking on the phone through an earpiece. She was nice, but she was having two conversations at once.

The staff here are truly wonderful, and the rooms are very nice. There’s plenty of space for dogs if you bring them, and good places to eat within a mile. You’re not right in the middle of Hartford, but it’s an easy drive away. We’ll plan to stay again when we’re in the area.

The rooms were clean, though a little dated, and the hallway carpets are older. The staff were awesome.
