Comfort Inn & Suites Mandan - Bismarck

The pool was the reason we came, and it was super clean, went up to 5 feet, and had strong chlorine, which felt reassuring. The beds and bathrooms were clean, the hallways smelled fresh, and the front desk staff were friendly. There was lemon water and coffee in the lobby, plus a fitness room and a spacious parking lot. It was quiet and peaceful, and the building looked new. I didn't see beer offered, but there's a place next door. I'd definitely recommend it.

On our second reservation at Comfort Inn & Suites Mandan-Bismarck, Tori patiently listened and made sure we got what we needed, including a first floor room. I also left my neck pillow behind, and Betty Lake and her staff searched everywhere until they found it, along with the missing pillowcase protector. Betty kept calling with updates while they looked, then sent the pillow back home to us. She showed real care and dedication, and the staff treated us with respect and compassion. The staff were friendly, and there's a Bennigan's right next door for an easy meal. From the east-facing hillside, you get good views, and there's a youth football field not far away, along with an Arby's and a BNC Bank. Breakfast runs from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. There's a pool and hot tub, with a sign asking people to shower before swimming, plus a few conference rooms. The rooms looked nice and seemed clean at first, and signs say hospital-grade disinfectants are used. Housekeeping only comes when requested. My AC smelled a little musty, like the room was too humid, and some things showed their age, including cracks in the bathroom plaster by the shower. I also saw a couch with quite a few stains and stained throw pillows. Uh, eww?

I've stayed here quite a few times over the past few years, and every visit has been great. I'd recommend it to others.
