The Butler House

We returned to the Butler House last weekend, twelve years after our first-ever B&B stay there. That original visit was so good that we spent years trying other B&Bs, but none came close. I wondered whether some disappointing stays had made me remember the Butler House too fondly, but I’m happy to say it still met our expectations. We had the same room as before, with many of the same furnishings, which brought back a lot of memories. It’s a comfortable house, and the owner clearly takes pride in how breakfast is presented. The breakfast was excellent. We won’t wait another twelve years to come back.
