Days Inn by Wyndham Manning

I called around 6 pm today after being advised in the previous review to reach out for a resolution. The front desk person was very rude. I asked to speak with a manager, but instead he told me what I’d done wrong and said I was lying about smoking in the room. He said I wouldn’t get my money back just because I called to say I hadn’t smoked. When I repeated that I wanted a manager, he hung up on me. How professional is that? Please provide a good contact so I can speak with someone about this. I recorded the conversation, and he said I shouldn’t record because the hotel records calls too. Please listen to how your employee treats customers.

We only stayed because every other hotel was booked, and I wouldn’t come back. There were stains on both beds’ sheets, yellow pillows, hair all over the bathroom, and yellow spots on the ceiling. The price was alright, but the listing online showed something different. There was also what looked like a drug deal in the parking lot in the middle of the night. I gave it two stars because I could bring my dog.

I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay here, especially with children. The room was unsanitary and service was practically nonexistent. There was a pungent smell of smoke and mold when we walked in, and even though I expected cold weather, I didn’t expect the room itself to be cold. The heater didn’t work. The bedding didn’t look properly cleaned or made up, the microwave was dirty, and the table and refrigerator were dusty. The bathroom was awful: feces on the toilet, a broken sink, and a dirty tub and shower curtain. I didn’t trust the room enough to sleep in the bed, walk barefoot, or shower without slippers. Room service never came to bring clean towels or tidy up, and even after asking, I had to go back to the front desk several times to get what we needed. At breakfast, the front desk representative was rude and unprofessional. She rushed us, swept over our feet while we were eating, and smoked inside the building while on the clock. I’m from FL and booked four nights. I had driven a long way, but this was the most terrible hotel experience I’ve ever had.

This place is a dump. We left and went to the Baymont without even complaining, because it was so disgusting I felt I’d end up in jail if I did. The service was good and the lady was nice, and the location was good, but the room was musty, moldy, humid, and everything felt damp. There was a towel from the previous guest on the door, mold in the bathroom, bubbling paint on the bathroom wall, and a strong smell. I’m pretty sure there was pee running down one wall. The supposedly remodeled bathroom floor looked like a toddler had done it, with grout smeared before it dried. Outside the window was a water bowl and cat food, and at 830 pm about 15 stray cats were fighting over the food.
