Spark by Hilton Mansfield

My husband and I stayed at the Sparks for the first time. The name “Sparks” didn’t impress me much, but I changed my mind once we saw the room. It smelled clean, had crisp white linen and comfortable pillows, and came with a lovely cold breakfast. The bathroom nightlight was a pleasant surprise. I’d never come across that safety feature before. We’d definitely stay again if we were in Mansfield.

The people were nice and the rooms were clean, but the breakfast is total crap, if you can even call it breakfast. I don’t usually say that about a business, but it fits here. I stayed three times, and there was no coffee available at 6:30 am.

The beds are comfortable and it’s quiet, so the hotel itself is great. But Diamond made the whole stay bad. If you need anything, she’s hiding at the corner desk, and you have to show her the items you want to buy so she doesn’t have to get up. Ask her to check something about your stay and you’d think you’d asked her to do something illegal. She rolls her eyes and is just plain disrespectful. I’ll spend more money down the road for a room before dealing with her again!!!

The woman at the front desk was so rude to guests, especially when you’re paying to stay for a few days. Who hires front desk staff to treat people like that? They won’t get my business with that attitude. I’d give the hotel zero stars if I could because of the lady checking guests in. No Bueno sun. Oct.19 morning hours . 9-10
