Best Western Plus Manvel Inn & Suites

The staff made both visits feel easy, from check-in through checkout. They were welcoming and quick to answer our questions, which helped a lot while we were stressed and worn out from house hunting. We came from out of state to tour homes in nearby master-planned communities and stayed here twice. It was a comfortable, dependable place to come back to after long days. The rooms were clean and had what we needed for a short stay, without extra frills. We'd definitely come back.

The indoor pool and hot tub were immaculate, and there was plenty of parking with easy access to our room. Breakfast had lots to choose from, including fresh Texas-shaped waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage links, and more. Our coffee machine didn't work, but I took it to the front desk and they quickly replaced it. The rooms are a little dated but well kept, and everyone on staff we dealt with, especially at the front desk, gave excellent service. I'd recommend it for an affordable couple of days away from home.

Breakfast was good, and the staff were accommodating otherwise. The hotel is beside a busy road, so there was a lot of traffic noise. The AC was broken the first night, and they offered $10 off the rate. The pool was small and cold. There was also a police presence in the hallways on Saturday night.

It was my third time in the area, and my first choice, an AirBNB in old town downtown Alvin, wasn't available. This was the best alternative I could find, though I would've preferred that original location. It was definitely miles ahead of the AirBNB RV resort cabin a few miles down the road. That place was NOT GOOD!
