Cabins at Bonefish Bay

Coffee on the dock in the morning while cooking breakfast on the grills was one of my favorite parts of our week at Bonefish Bay Resort. My wife, our three kids, our small dog and I stayed in Cabin #1, and it was just what we needed. The cabin was clean, comfortable and the right size for us, with the water only steps away. Between kayaking and the pool, there was always something fun to do. The location worked well for all the exploring we wanted to do. It was a fantastic family getaway, and we're already looking forward to coming back next year!

On our spring 2026 trip, everything seemed new. My cabin came stocked with what you'd need to live there, from pots and pans, silverware and utensils to dish soap, sponges, linens, bedding, shampoo and conditioner. Outside there are several gas grills, a pool, a pickleball court, kayaks and life jackets. There's also a shaded patio by the water where you can sit. The owners were friendly and easy to deal with, and I appreciated how carefully they kept the whole property clean. Simple, clean and functional.

We had a relaxing, comfortable stay in one of the houseboats, which was very clean and thoughtfully decorated. The mornings on the deck were perfect, and our group had fun playing pickleball. We wished we'd had more time to try one of the free kayaks. We also chatted with the younger couple in the next houseboat, who were all smiles and having a great time. Before booking, we'd seen the website photos and were able to look at the boat in person before finalizing, so we knew what to expect. I'd definitely recommend a stay here, and we'll be back for sure.

Bonefish cove was perfect for our first time in the Keys and Marathon, and we'd definitely stay again. We spent three nights in a clean, new, comfortable two-bedroom cabin (a trailer) in a great Marathon location. I hadn't known there was a pool or that bikes and kayaks were free to use. There's a dock where you can relax or fish, plus ice and a laundry facility.
