The grounds are clean and well cared for, and the firepit, lounge, pool and tiki bar are great spots to unwind. Steve and Sandy are very hospitable proprietors, and they make sure people don't turn the place into chaotic traffic or abuse the facilities. I've been lucky to find Lil teds. I'll be back next season!

We found bed bugs when we checked the sheets at bedtime, including several at different life stages and feces throughout. We packed up and left right away. After leaving a voicemail and waiting, we returned to speak with the woman at the office. She met us with excuses and seemed not to care, focusing more on the unmade beds than on the bugs in them. We're working on getting our money back, but definitely won't return. Earlier, the AC filter had been caked with dirt and grime, leaving the room hot and caustic. We cleaned it, then noticed that the furniture, floor, walls and pretty much everything else was dirty or dusty and covered in bugs. Terrible experience.

Update: we got extra towels the next day without asking. After seeing what else is available around here, this place isn't that bad. It was okay, but I wouldn't recommend it. We booked last minute for four women. The room was dated and roomy, with only single beds. The bathroom door looked dirty when closed, and with no fan, the steam and dirt left the walls looking questionable. There wasn't a hook or shelf for our things, just a pedestal sink and no counter. We had no bath mat, and only one hand towel, one washcloth and one towel each for four of us. We used a towel as a bath mat, and I planned to ask for more, though they arrived the next day without us asking. The carpet could use replacing, and the bedroom lamp didn't work. The pool was nice and clean, but very cold. The small AC unit in the living room did keep it cool. I've stayed in better places and worse ones.

The pool was great, and we enjoyed the fire pit and grill. We had a wonderful stay with our kids and extended family. The property is beautifully maintained, the staff were friendly and hospitable, and the cottages had everything we needed. Would recommend!
