Room 206 was roomy and easy to settle into, with a large bathroom to match. Hotel Paisano's restaurant is genuinely good, and the gift shops have fun, unusual finds that feel thoughtfully selected. The front desk staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, too. It's easy to walk to everything in Marfa, so after parking, we could just explore. Without hesitation, five stars. Staying here feels like a piece of Texas film history with the comfort you want today. The architecture is beautiful, the interiors warm, and the atmosphere relaxed, with a timeless Southern elegance that suits Marfa perfectly. A truly special place.

The roast tacos and giant burger at Jett’s Grill were excellent, and the bartenders and wait staff were completely on point. The food was great, but the service was even better. Chrissy greeted us at the front desk with a warm smile and helped us check in early. The hotel has such a welcoming feel. I'd recommend Hotel Paisano to family and friends without hesitation.

Marfa itself surprised me. I wasn't expecting much, but I was delighted by the quaint town and the Marfa Lights. My favorite part ended up being my stay at the Hotel Paisano, where the staff were very friendly and the service exceptional. The hotel is beautiful, classy, and historic, with its Hollywood past displayed in pristine condition throughout. Elizabeth Taylor and James Dean called Paisano home while filming the classic “Giant.” A friend who'd recommended the lights had also suggested the hotel, and I'm glad I stopped in Marfa to see them. Staying at The Hotel Paisano made the trip even more memorable.

The James Dean room was a little dated but fine, and the bed was comfortable. We stayed one night as part of a road trip from San Antonio to CA. Hotel Paisano has lovely architecture, a striking western Art Deco lobby, and a nice range of gift shops alongside it. The restaurant wasn't open during our stay. I'd recommend the hotel and would stay again if I'm in Marfa.

Joel and Aitana were wonderful event leads, making sure every guest's needs were accommodated, and Chrissie organized the event and was always available when we needed changes. My husband and I hosted a wedding party at Hotel Paisano, and the staff's friendliness and service really blew us away. It's a wonderful historic venue with an authentic West Texas feel in the high desert. We'll be back for many years to come.
