I went to the office for a refund as soon as I saw the state of the room. It was falling apart, with wall cracks and smoke detector wires hanging from the ceiling. The blankets were stained, and there were roaches in the bathroom and elsewhere in the room. I’d already killed two before I was halfway through checking it out. I can’t believe this random Motel 6 in Florida became my first Google review, but it was nasty. Other hotels in town charge the same and are much cleaner. Don’t stay here. Since there’s no zero-star option, I’ll leave the rest to your imagination.

This place looked pretty sketchy. I booked it because it was affordable for a trip with my nephew to Florida Caverns, and the website showed a pool. Turns out the pool was drained and separated from the cement. The hobos were friendly, though... 😬

The woman who checked us in was so amazing, she could've been checking me into a five-star place in Milan. It's a budget motel, and pretty decent for Motel 6. We travel with dogs, so we stay at this brand often. It's also easy to reach from the highway.

For the price, I appreciated having outlets on both nightstands, which made charging easy. The room itself was dim, the bathroom floor felt sticky, and its door kept sticking. There was also a noisy truck stop nearby. The price was right, though.

After a long road trip, I really wanted a shower, but the bathroom was so gross I wouldn't use their towel or step into the shower. The toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. I got ready for bed, went to brush my teeth, and came back to find my feet were filthy from the floor. I was so tired I didn't ask for a refund and go to another hotel, but otherwise I would have.
