Residence Hub Inn & Suites

It was so late when we arrived that I didn't feel I could leave, even though I felt unsafe and the old, dirty rooms were nothing like the listing. The first room's door had apparently been kicked in and wouldn't lock. When we told the man at the front, he tried to fix it, then gave us another room once he couldn't. At least that one locked, but it was just as bad. Beds and sheets were dirty, with what looked like blood stains. The ceiling had unpainted patches and the walls had peeling paint. The room light was on the side wall, the bed lights didn't work, and the TV wouldn't work properly. Breakfast was a joke, just a small yogurt and cereal. This makes me hesitant to book with an independent owner again.

I've stayed several times, and the man and woman running the place are sweet people. The rooms are always clean, smell great, and have comfortable beds. Breakfast is cereal and honey buns, though Hardee's is right across the street if you want something more. You won't find a better place anywhere near this price.

The pool was easily the best part of our stop on the way to PCB. We paid $67 total for the room. Breakfast was toast, cereal, yogurt, and little Debbie’s. I'm glad they had something, but don't expect much. The room was okay, nothing special and definitely outdated, though it felt clean and safe. Fine for one night.

For the price, it's a great place to stay. The people are friendly, and the rooms have an old-school feel. Cozy like grandma's house, not creepy.
