Embassy Suites Atlanta - Kennesaw Town Center

There are plenty of food options nearby. The room was nice enough, and when I noticed there was barely any toilet paper left, I asked for more and they sent a roll right up. I wasn’t a fan of paying to park in their own open-air lot.

Breakfast was okay, standard hotel fare, and the breakfast staff were nice. The waffle maker needed cleaning. The room had hair in several places, lotion on the wall, and a sticky bathroom floor. The thermostat’s up button didn’t work well, and someone had set it down in the 30s. There was no fitted sheet for the folding bed. When I went to the front desk for one, they told me to return to my room and wait for housekeeping. Parking costs extra. We were there for a funeral, so I didn’t bring any of this up with management. For what the stay costs, I expected better cleanliness.

The hotel was A1, and we had an awesome stay. Our room looked recently renovated, clean, and contemporary, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location worked well for us, with decent fast food within walking distance. Ruth Chris is the hotel restaurant for meals and room service. Breakfast was a little lacking, but cocktail hour was good. Parking can be tricky when people who aren’t hotel guests come to Ruth Chris.

There were kids from teams and lots of families, with children running and yelling up and down the halls all night. Shame on those parents. The hotel is beautiful and clean, though it was packed. Whenever we came back from eating across the street, the entrance was full of people standing around smoking weed and cigars, like it was a club. If we’d known about that before booking, we would’ve stayed at the other hotel we usually use.
