The pool is huge, clean, and nicely decorated, and the rooms have new furnishings. The mattresses are sealed and the linens were clean. You can tell the bathrooms were renovated cheaply, but they work. Staff varied: the day staff were brusque, while the evening team was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I'd stay again, but skip the attached restaurant. The ribs tasted reheated from the day before, the ends were dried out, and I was sick all night.

The heated pool helps make up for the jacuzzi being out of service. The staff are amazing, and the place has a positive, lively feel. I've extended my stay while I work through some personal changes, and it has started to feel like home away from home as I move into a new life. You may see tweakers, but staff act quickly to address them. Updates are underway, and the property has the bones for a grand look when everything is finished. I've made good memories here already, have more ahead, and expect to do future business here.

The room's bed made for a rough, restless night, and there were cobwebs in the lamps and a smashed spider still sitting in the tub area. The place needs serious updating and feels barely operational: vending machines and coolers were empty, while grab-and-go breakfast was just whole grain bagels, coffee, and graham crackers. Staff didn't seem concerned about my issues, and nobody checked my ID at check-in. On the positive side, I saw no bedbugs or roaches during my stay. Someone from Choice Hotels should inspect these properties, because upkeep and quality seem to be slipping.

The room was very nice, the front desk attendant was friendly, and the location was excellent. My key gave me trouble opening the door, though. The pool was spacious, and it would've been great if the hot tub had been running. The weight room equipment could use some maintenance.
