Sheraton Suites Galleria-Atlanta

Breakfast was decent, though it could use a little work. We loved our weekend here and found it to be good value for money, whether traveling as a couple, family, or for business. The lobby was comfortable, with clean, modern furniture, and the whole place smelled great. Our room had a modern, comfortable living room, and the beds were comfortable, though the pillows were so soft they seemed to disappear when you lay on them. The bathroom and common areas were clean.

The gym is why this gets five stars from me. It has a working Peloton bike and tread, and trying the tread for the first time was a nice surprise. There's also a small nook for stretching or doing a workout on your own. The rooms are okay, but dated, with a definite 1990s feel. Maintenance handles most issues, though you can see some cracks starting.

The bed was quite comfortable, and the onsite bar and restaurant had very friendly, helpful staff. I loved both the room and the service, especially being able to check out as late as 2 pm. I can't say much about the location beyond its proximity to 285, but you can walk to the battery from there. It's handy if you want access to the interstate or the games.

Breakfast on 04/05/2026 left me feeling disrespected. I politely asked the pregnant staff member for a cereal bowl, and she looked me up and down before pointing instead of helping. I stayed quiet, but thought it was rude and unprofessional. An older man offered me a plastic spoon, then didn't answer when I asked why. I also saw him helping white guests pack their plates, but he didn't offer me the same courtesy. I checked in on 04/04/2026 with my husband and three kids to celebrate my birthday. I've stayed at Sheraton properties before and had good experiences, but this visit was a disaster. The Hispanic lady who checked me in put us in Room 821, which looked out onto the back of Costco. The sofa bed was in terrible shape, with springs sticking out that scratched my leg. The bathroom was another serious problem. I contracted what I believe was a toilet-related infection, and friends who came by with a birthday cake also became sick after using that restroom. This was meant to be a birthday celebration and ended up extremely disappointing. I don't recommend the hotel, and strongly advise people to avoid Room 821.
