The friendly staff were fine. The $210 bill is what really upset me. I was tired from traveling back to Tennessee from Georgia after not sleeping well, so I stopped at the Country Inn and Suites in Dalton. I’ve used Country Inn and Suites in Tennessee before and was very satisfied. This room was plain, the highway noise kept going, and the TV remote wouldn’t let me stream. I did get some rest despite the noticeable traffic noise. I usually go to Hampton Inn, my go-to, but the Hampton Inn in Dalton was under construction. They normally charge me $100-$125, and their rooms are comfortable and nice.

This is my go-to hotel when traveling between TN and GA, and I’ve had great experiences here over several years. The location is a big reason I’d recommend it. During one stay, I had a reservation mix-up, and the manager, whose name I’m sorry I didn’t get, went out of her way to fix it. On this stay, Mira at the front desk went above and beyond to meet my requested accommodations. One honest note, the hotel is starting to show its age a bit.

The beds are soft, and it’s a good, clean, quiet hotel, but it’s a very old property and nothing like what you’d expect from the ad photos or the RADDISSON name. The low popcorn ceiling and painted doors look dated, with just a few newer, modern furniture pieces. We had to change rooms because the toilet wouldn’t flush. In the replacement room, no water came into the bathtub. If you’re looking for somewhere fresh and modern with all the utilities working, go elsewhere, especially at this price.

There are lots of restaurants nearby, and the scenery is beautiful. The hotel is clean and cute, and the breakfast tastes like a home-cooked meal. It’s amazing. I’d definitely go back.

HORRIBLE!!!! We checked in at 6:36 AM on 4/16/2026. Cladet, the check-in employee, told us we could stay through 4/17/2026 and wouldn’t have to check out early. We got up around noon and were checked out by 12:24. During that time, the phone in our room rang, but it wasn’t plugged in, and its plug wouldn’t even stay in the phone so I could answer. When I finally picked up, they were asking us to leave immediately and said we should already have been out. I explained that wasn’t what we’d been told. The woman on the phone was rude and not nice at all. I told her we were already leaving, but about five minutes later the manager knocked, rudely asked why we hadn’t left, and said the room needed cleaning. I’ve never had such a bad hotel experience in my life. I demand our money back or a credit at another Radisson. I’ll also be sending this to Radisson corporate leadership.
