Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Marinette, WI

The pool and hot tub were a nice way to unwind after a day on the road. Breakfast had a full spread, including eggs, sausage, pancakes, waffles, yogurt, and more. The women looking after the breakfast area were so friendly, greeting people and clearing dishes, and the reception staff were just as nice. Our room was perfect, honestly: clean, comfortable beds, and plenty of space for our family of four. We travel a lot and always hope to find a hotel like this. A big thank you to everyone there!

The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the beds were very comfortable. The room was otherwise very clean, though there were a few hard, caked-on floor stains that I felt underfoot, or maybe the carpet was badly worn in those spots. We booked just a couple of hours before check-in for one night on our way home. The hotel is by the train tracks, which isn’t ideal, but they provide disposable earplugs. We only heard the train once at night, and it wasn’t too loud. The room fridge has no freezer. The lobby can feel cramped when it’s busy. Breakfast was standard, and the coffee was good.

We were disappointed that the two queen beds we reserved and paid for went to someone else. Having just one bed meant a really poor night’s sleep, and we were exhausted for the long drive the next day. The hotel was clean and breakfast was decent, to be fair, but we should at least have been offered a discount for the mistake. Instead, all we got was a standard email reply to our internal review. We travel two months each year, but won’t willingly choose this brand again. Better customer service would have helped a lot. We came away feeling our business didn’t matter.

We had a reservation problem at check-in, but it was sorted out fairly quickly. The room was clean and comfortable, although there wasn’t much dresser space. I appreciated that the fridge had been left off when we arrived to save energy, as the sign explained, but once turned on it worked a little too well and froze the drink I left in it overnight. The breakfast area was a definite plus, with plenty of tasty, healthy choices and different hot items each day. Cookies and coffee in the lobby were a nice touch. The vending machines were limited and weren’t restocked daily, which was disappointing. A clean, comfortable stay with decent amenities.
