BlissPoint Inn & Suites

The smell was awful, and there were bugs on the walls that I’m pretty sure were cockroaches. I also saw what looked like bed bug signs, plus smeared blood and candy wrappers on the mattress cover. It was supposed to be accessible, but there were no rails by the toilet. The shower was walk-in and had a shower chair, at least. I complained and asked for a refund, but they moved me to another room instead. That one had no heat, with 30-degree weather outside, so I demanded my money back. They told me to get it from booking.com, and I contacted them. Absolutely awful, I'd never recommend this place.

The fridge and microwave were dirty in both rooms, and the elevator really needs a professional to look at it. The staff weren't friendly. When I asked for towels, I was told to bring the used ones to the front desk. One room had dirty towels with nasty stuff on them, though they were folded. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place.

One word: cockroaches. All four of us had our own rooms, and every one of us found live roaches in our room. I even saw one on the breakfast room floor. Other reviews make it look like this has been going on for a while. Also, the elevator sounds like a death trap, so avoid it if you stay here. Edit: I hope the owners mean what they said in their response. I've seen similar replies to reviews from months ago, and apparently nothing was done. Please just deal with the roaches. For the nightly room price, everything else about the place isn't that bad.

The Wi-Fi is very poor, and phone reception inside the hotel is weak too. There are all sorts of pests, including cockroaches and mice, in the rooms and even in the kitchen food. Rooms are cleaned only once a week. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
