Breakfast was already gone when we reached the dining room during the big wrestling tournament, and both trash cans were overflowing. There was no coffee, and for two days there were no towels in the pool area. But the worst part was our bathroom. There was feces and pee on the toilet, hair and scum in the shower, and toothpaste in the sink. I had to clean it myself. When I told the woman at the desk, all she said was that she’d find out who cleaned it. Really disappointing.

The rooms are always clean, the staff is helpful, and breakfast is good. I especially like that it’s a non-smoking hotel. I’ve stayed here a few times when visiting Marion, OH, and for a 2 Star hotel, I love staying here. A staff person found ESPN for medical so I could watch the MBL playoff game!

The beds are about 3’ tall, which made getting in and out really hard for older, short people with knee and back issues. Even the accessibility room had a high bed and a tub. Shorter beds and a walk-in shower would help. On the plus side, Jeanie was fabulous with customer service. We had a minor room issue, and she went all over to find us the best option to move to.

The rooms were clean, which matters most to me, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good, with scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, and dry cereal. I’d like some more cold options, such as yogurt or hard boiled eggs. The price seemed a little high, though hotels around here all cost more than I’m used to paying. I’d stay again and recommend the hotel.
