The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the heater worked well. The location suited what we needed. Todd and Timothy made us feel welcome, and after hearing about our situation, they changed our booking from a single bed to a double before we arrived.

Todd was really helpful and accommodating, and the rooms were warm, clean, comfortable, and well equipped for a reasonable price. Creekside works well for skiing at Kirkwood, summer hikes nearby, or a stop on the way to Lake Tahoe. We’ll definitely come back. Thanks!

Cute, cozy spot, and the host was happy to bring us two extra blankets when I called ahead. It’s a pretty good drive to Kirkwood resort for skiing, about 30 minutes. I’d stay here again.

Todd called before we arrived, which made check-in go smoothly. The rooms were clean and the accommodations matched the description. Dinner choices in town are limited, though, so if you’ll get in late, bring some microwave meals.

Creekside Lodge is dog friendly and makes a handy, affordable base for adventures without breaking the bank. The rooms are simple but clean, the bathrooms have been nicely updated, and Inn Keeper Todd is friendly and helpful. Family-friendly, affordable places to stay in the Sierra can be hard to find, so this one really stands out. Looking forward to another visit.
