Boulevard Motel

I booked after seeing all the positive reviews, and I’m posting this in the hope management will address some things. We were two adults staying for two nights. The room was very clean, with lots of fluffy white towels, shampoo, conditioner, and a little bar of shower soap. The small fridge and microwave came in handy, and having our own parking spot right outside the door was convenient. Check-in and checkout were easy. They also had little snacks, assorted tea, and Keurig coffee in the morning. Shop Rite and several restaurants were about a two-minute drive away. The bed made it hard to sleep. The mattress felt lumpy, and when I sat down, the other end bounced up, almost like a water bed. The sheets were too small for the thick mattress, too. Morning sun came straight into the room, and there were no light-blocking curtains or shades. The AC worked, but it was so loud that I turned it off to try to sleep. Then the room got hot, and with no fan, I had to turn the noisy unit back on. There were two beds but only one chair, so a second chair would help. It was clean and convenient, but the uncomfortable bed and bright morning light mean I can’t book here again.

Getting in was easy: I received a text on arrival day, and check-in was a snap. My parking spot was right outside the door. It’s only a few minutes to the beach, with a Wawa and Dunkin around the corner on route 9, about two minutes away. In the morning there was fresh fruit and a Keurig available. It’s a small old-style beach motel, and my small room was very clean and had a little refrigerator.

The relaxed staff made the stay feel easy, and the morning coffee and snacks under the Holly Tree were such a nice start to the day. I’m particular about coffee, so I was glad they had a Keurig. I stayed in room 2, which was clean, updated, and comfortable. It felt like a home away from home, and it’s an ideal spot for a quick beach trip. I’m looking forward to coming back soon.

We came for our engagement pictures in ocean city, and the location made getting into the city easy. The room was really nice, and we loved having an outdoor seating area. Wifi worked great, too. There’s also a complimentary morning coffee and snack station, which was a cute, lovely thing to wake up to. We’d definitely return and recommend it to others.
