Cute place at a fair price for friends or family. The trails behind the building are beautiful, and there's a nice little sauna and pool. Just a heads-up, sometimes the room can smell like pee and cigarettes.

The room was huge, though the beds were comfortable but small. It could easily have fit two king or queen beds instead of the full-size ones. I liked the retro decor, phone, and radio. The remodeled room was interesting, and the bathroom was nice, though it needs a hand-towel hook. There wasn't a coffee maker in the room. We didn't try the pool, sauna, or hot tub, but would've been happy to if we'd stayed longer.

We had a great time bringing the family to swim. You don't need to book a room to use the pool, which helped since we wanted something fun to do nearby without spending much. The pool, hot tub, sauna, and restrooms were all clean, and the staff were kind and helpful. Thanks, Neeco and staff. We'd absolutely have another pool party here.

The room was filthy and falling apart. Dust covered the headboards, tables, and other surfaces, and the carpet was stained and torn, with edges that looked long overdue for vacuuming. There was a gap in the wall trim where cold air came in. The bathroom was awful: mold all along the accordion shower-curtain track, old floor grips still stuck to the tub and packed with grime, and dirt in every floor corner. A big hair was in the mini fridge, and its freezer needed defrosting badly. The microwave sat on top of the fridge. The particle-board furniture was breaking apart, the drawers had dirt in them, and the extra blankets were wadded inside a beat-up armoire with an extra pillow on the floor. There were cracks in the walls, torn wallpaper, peeling bathroom trim, and a TV too small to make out from bed. Even the light above the table was so dusty barely any light came through. The table itself was so wobbly its legs looked ready to fall off. There were four of us, but we got only one key. The sheets were inside out, and the blankets looked tossed onto the beds with excess tucked under the mattresses. It all looked used and sloppy. The listed room rates seem cheap, but after the booking call the total was almost double. They said $20 was for cleaning and more was for laundry, among other fees. I want that money back. I cleaned the room, and I doubt anything had been washed since the last guests. This place has over 100 rooms, yet it doesn't seem to be making the repairs or upgrades needed to make guests comfortable. I don't know who owns it, but if they're just running it into the ground and taking what they can, they're doing a great job. I'll never stay again or recommend it to anyone. A hotel should feel like a home away from home and be safe, sanitized, and properly cleaned after every stay. This room's filth took time to build up, and it shows how little they care about customers. I'm disgusted and disappointed. I guess I'll clean the bathtub properly myself so they can see what it should look like for each new guest. I took pictures of everything. These rates and fees for a room like this are ludicrous. Get better housekeepers, or check every room after cleaning. If the owners would stay here themselves and pay these fees, then so be it.
