The location is quiet and well off the highway, with shopping and restaurants nearby. Those were the good points. My wife, son, and I stayed Friday 26 September in room 323, a king suite with a sofa bed. By some miracle, the other guests that night were quiet and considerate, because the building has zero soundproofing between rooms or from outside. We could hear quiet conversations and normal footsteps and movements from rooms beside us, above and below. We could even hear ordinary conversations outdoors, three floors down. The room was tiny, the smallest American hotel room I’ve ever been in, and the mattress was terrible. My wife and I both woke with sore hips and backs. I could have lived with a tiny room if the other basics had been right, but they weren’t. I’ve never before left a hotel review so at odds with most of the reviews here. For several years I spent upwards of 180 nights a year in hotels. Frequent travelers need a clean, quiet, comfortable place where they have a real chance to rest. Through no fault of management, this place failed on every count. If you have a choice and quiet, comfortable, undisturbed sleep matters to you, don’t stay here.

As a long-term guest, I’ve been made to feel like family. The customer service and kindness here are exceptional, and the clean, modern place is close to stores and major highways. There’s a gym, pool, laundry, outdoor grilling, and small event spaces. The leadership team keeps the operation running as smoothly as butter. Stay here, you won’t be disappointed.

We found the hotel very clean, and it smelled and looked good. The indoor pool is heated, and the rooms are nice and spacious. The staff were so friendly and helpful, making our stay very pleasant. I thought the breakfast was average, while my husband thought it was amazing.

After a long day on the road, this was a welcome place to rest. My wife and I were impressed with every part of our first stay at TownePlace Suites at Georgetown. It was quiet and clean, and the room had everything we needed. We were surprised by the attention to detail. We travel to Florida each year, so this will definitely be a stop for us.
